Islamorada is located centrally 70 miles south of Miami and 70 miles north of Key West. Acclaimed as the “Sport Fishing Capital of the World”, Islamorada beckons dedicated anglers year after year.  Islamorada provides access to some of the Keys most fascinating snorkeling and diving including San Pedro Archeological Park, the final resting place of 21 treasure-laden Spanish galleons that sank in a 1733 hurricane. It’s a favorite spot of divers searching for gold coins and New World artifacts. If fishing and diving are not for you, Islamorada has excellent restaurants, shops, beaches, state parks, and historical landmarks.
